A new line of sprinkles in fun geeky shapes: Steampunk, Lightning Bolt, and Police Box. Great for unique baking projects!

ADD-ONS ARE HERE! See below for more information!

If we pass our initial goal, we have some fun stretch goals to aim for!
If the Kickstarter reaches $40,000, all backers of the $26 Full Set level or higher will receive an additional bottle of sprinkles OF THEIR CHOICE for free. You'll receive a survey after the Kickstarter ends asking for your choice.
*Those who backed the Full Set at the $20 Early Bird level will be eligible for the free bonus bottle.
If the Kickstarter reaches $55,000, a new sprinkle shape will be announced and will be available to purchase. The shape's a secret for now, but I think you're going to like it!
Why not? You spend time creating fun baked goods as gifts, for parties, or for days ending with "y." Why not decorate them with sprinkles as unique or geeky as you?
This Kickstarter is for the creation of a "Geeky Sprinkles" line and a run of three new sprinkle types. The Kickstarter goal will cover the creation of these new sprinkles including the cost of new die molds and meeting minimum order quantities.
The sprinkles will be manufactured and bottled by highly reputable companies in the United States. These companies work for well-known brands including Betty Crocker, Target, Duff, Disney, and Williams-Sonoma.
Use them to decorate cakes, dress up a sundae, or just eat them straight out of the bottle. No one will judge you.
The sprinkle types are all unique and made just for the "Geeky Sprinkles" brand. You can only get them here!
Blue Police Box Sprinkles: Blue British police box confectionary shapes. Whether you're an avid fan of old police boxes, or just have a thing for time travel, these will add some timey-wimey flair to your fish fingers and custard.
Steampunk Sprinkles: Gear and nut confectionery shapes in a mix of gray, yellow, and brown. Fantastic for steampunk cupcakes, construction-themed parties, or robot confections.
Lightning Bolt Sprinkles: Yellow lightning bolt confectionary shapes. Add them onto your X-Men cupcakes, coat a rainbow cake in them, or sprinkle them on top of your Butterbeer.
Not sure how to use these sprinkles? Pledge at the $26 level or higher and you'll receive a Kickstarter-exclusive set of recipe cards with recipes created by the following geeky bakers:
  • Alan Kistler of The Unofficial Game of Thrones Cookbook
  • Bryton Taylor of Food in Literature
  • Chris-Rachael Oseland of Kitchen Overlord
  • Greasy Sae of Fictional Food
  • Jackie Alpers, author of Sprinkles!: Recipes and Ideas for Rainbowlicious Desserts
  • Jenny Burgesse of Geek Sweets
  • Jimmy Wong of Feast of Fiction
  • Mitch Hutts of The Drunken Moogle
If you have backed at the $12 level or higher, you can choose to purchase add-ons. You do this by adding the amount necessary to your pledge. After the campaign is over, you will be sent a survey to determine exactly which sprinkles you would like. You will have your choice among the sprinkle shapes AND the other basic sprinkles that come with the various sprinkle sets.
Sprinkles: $8 per bottle. (Add $2 per bottle for International shipping.)
Geeky Hostess Apron: $14. (Add $2 per apron for International shipping.)
Special Thanks
This Kickstarter wouldn't have happened without the help of these amazing people.
  • Cinesaurus for making the amazing video

Risks and challenges

Although I haven't created a large run of sprinkles before (and I mean "Scrooge McDuck could dive into a swimming pool full of these sprinkles" large), the manufacturers and bottlers I'm working with do every single day. I spent a year searching for and talking to every manufacturer of sprinkles in the world, and truly feel I have found the best. My contacts have been amazingly helpful and I have full confidence in their abilities to create exactly what I want.
If the manufacturer or bottler falls through, there are back-ups available.
There's always a risk of delays in shipping or production, but I have added in buffer time for the incentive levels. The manufacturer and bottler are both located in the US which means we don't have to worry about customs or overseas shipping times causing delays.
Although I have not created and shipped anything on this scale in the past, I do currently have an online store and am familiar with packing and shipping processes. You will get your sprinkles in perfect condition or they will be replaced!
